Earl Grey Teabags
The quintessentially British blend of aromatic bergamot with high quality black tea.
INGREDIENTS
- 75ml Pink grapefruit juice
- 50ml Earl Grey tea (brewed and cooled)
- 25ml Honey syrup
- 15 ml Earl Grey tea syrup
To Garnish
- Pink grapefruit wheel
- Sprig of rosemary
Equipment
- Stemless gin glass
- Jigger
- Sharp knife
- Bar spoon
METHOD
For the Earl Grey syrup:
- Brew 4 earl grey bags in 100ml of hot water
- Measure 100grams of white caster sugar into a pot
- Pour tea into sugar and bring to a boil
- Boil until sugar is dissolved
- Cool then pour into a container and keep in the fridge
For the honey syrup:
- Pour 100ml of hot water into a pot
- Add 100ml of honey
- Boil until incorporated
- Cool and pour into a container and keep in the fridge
For the Pink Grapefruit and Earl Grey Cobbler:
- Chill glass in freezer
- Fill glass with small ice cubes
- Measure all ingredients into glass
- Briefly mix to incorporate all ingredients
- Garnish with grapefruit and rosemary
