Thirty-five years ago this year, our business was born, founded by Mr Rahim Afshar and his brothers as a small tea shop in Hampshire, UK. Having a family history in the tea business they knew where to look for the best quality teas and concentrated on selling delicious blends in beautifully decorated caddies. After years of investment of time and labour, their persistence paid off – Ahmad Tea began exporting around the world. Now we sell to over 80 countries worldwide, and no one is prouder of this achievement than our Chairman, Mr Rahim Afshar, who shares the Ahmad Tea story…
To celebrate 35 years of Ahmad Tea we have created a limited-edition blend of uniquely aromatic Orange Blossom tea named ‘The Chairman’s Promise’. The tea is named after the guarantee that our founder, Mr Rahim Afshar, would never sell a tea that he would not drink at home.
